PRISCILLA CHATMAN
President
As founder of PSI NORTH-SOUTH PARTNERS, INC. Priscilla drew on her prior experience in the public relations, promotion and advertising fields as a basis for developing the services that PSI now offers. With over 15 years as a public relations professional, Priscilla has created successful public relations campaigns for clients in music, film, theater, television and sports.
Prior to PSI, Priscilla spearheaded Nuclear Promotions, an independent music promotion company. As Vice President, she was responsible for the promotion and marketing of such artists as Terrence Trent D’arby, Natalie Cole, Regina Belle and Earth, Wind & Fire.
Priscilla’s earlier years in the music industry included working at Hammond Music/CBS Records as Director Of Promotion & Marketing under the direction of the late and legendary John Hammond (the music veteran responsible for the careers of Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan and Billie Holliday).
In the 80’s, Priscilla was the Press & Publicity Director for the then popular Salsoul Records, working with platinum recording acts as Instant funk, SKYY, The Salsoul Orchestra, Loleatta Holloway and First Choice. This led to a position as Director of Publicity & Artist Development for the legendary songwriters/producers Kenneth Gamble & Leon Huff and their Philadelphia International Record Label. While at PIR, Priscilla helped to mold the careers of Teddy Pendergrass, The O’Jays, Jerry Butler, Jean Carne, McFadden & Whitehead and Patti Labelle.
